Global smash-hit mega-musical Hamilton has a new cast for its August return to the Victoria Palace Theatre in London.
Heading back to the VP on 19 August 2021, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony and Olivier Award winning musical continues to be the hottest theatre ticket in London, New York and around the world.
The show’s producers, Jeffrey SellerandCameron Mackintosh, announced the cast earlier this week. Karl Queensboroughis returning to the show to play the title role of Alexander Hamilton. Joining him is Simon-Anthony Rhodenas Aaron Burr,Ava Brennanas Angelica Schuyler,Sharon Roseas Eliza Hamilton,Trevor Dion Nicholasas George Washington,Waylon Jacobsas Marquis De Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson,Emile Ruddockas Hercules Mulligan/James Madison,Khalid Daleyas John Laurens/Phillip Hamilton,Emilie Louise Israelas Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds andHarry Heppleas King George.At certain performances the role of Alexander Hamilton will be played byNuno Queimado.

The Olivier, Tony and Grammy award-winning production opened at Cameron Mackintosh’s restored Victoria Palace Theatre in December 2017 and continued to play there until the start of lockdown in March last year.
Hamiltonis the story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the very foundations of the America we know today.
The show weaves hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and traditional musical theatre into a thrillingly multi-layered musical. The show picked up 7 Olivier Awards from a record breaking 13 nominations. The new company is due to begin rehearsals shortly with full casting to be revealed in due course.
Hamilton is booking from 19 August 2021 until 13 February 2022 at the Victoria Palace Theatre, London.
